I'm a bit confused about something...

Could you have a few domains registered all using the same web hosting? If you can... how do you? Do you know what I mean?

With my hosting (surpass hosting) you can have an add-on domain... you can register a domain with someone (such as yahoo or wherever you'd like) and use the same hosting. I think. You don't get separate CPanel, I think is what it is.

you can have one domain registered at one place [for exampl godaddy] and have another registered through your host, but they can all be on the same account by just setting the DNS servers to point to the webhost/server.

What are Add-on Domains, Multiple Domains, Domain Alias, Domain Parking, etc.?

You can skip this section if you already understand what these terms mean. Despite the confusing terminology, they all refer to 1 of 2 cases which we will be looking at below.

Now, let’s say you are already hosting "George-Bush.com" with a web host and you also have another domain called "US-President.com".

With domain alias/parking/pointing, US-President.com will be exactly the same as George-Bush.com. Both these domains will point to the SAME website. The alias itself will not contain any new content, it is merely a duplicate of the main site. The feature chart on your left and in our directory is referring to this.

With add-on domains, George-Bush.com and US-President.com will be 2 totally different sites. For example, George-Bush.com might be a site dedicated to George Bush himself while US-President.com can be a site dedicated to all the presidents in the history of the United States.  Your web host simply creates a subdirectory in your main account for the add-on domain and the add-on site will share all the resources (diskspace, bandwidth, MySQL...) of your main site. In this way you don't need to pay for another hosting account if you want to host another site.

'Multiple domains' shall refer to add-on domains, but be aware that many web hosts are actually referring to domain pointers. So the phrase 'multiple domains' alone is a misleading one. But since the future of the web hosting would be 'multiple domain hosting', the phrase will slowly evolve to mean add-on domains.

If you're looking to own more then one set domain that will host other domains, that will have it's cpanel and set amount of space/bandwidth, then you'd look into what's called a "reseller" account, or "virtual private server" at some sites.

If you mean to say that you want multiple web addresses to point to the same server (i.e. the same webpage), then yes, this is entirely possible.

You should be able to point multiple URL's to the same host, yes. It may depend on your host, but theoretically, your domain is independent of a host; so you should be able to forward requests to several domains to a single host.

In other words, your site is hosted at mysite.com. You should be able to point requests to myothersite.com and athirdsite.com to mysite.com.

So If I did register the domain elsewhere, I'd have to point it to ns1.holdfire.net?

Yes, that's generally how it works.

Yes, if you decided you wanted to register the domain name on your own, and say not through my company, then you'd still receive the nameservers so that your domain will be pointed properly. If you chose to let my company register the domain, you wouldn't have to worry about the nameservers and whatnot, as I'd be taking care of that aspect of it.
