how did this person make this?

would it be done by photoshop and image ready or animation shop? i have both.
the question is how do you make the butterfly fade then come back.

The butterfly looks like a downloadable brush and the person just saved each as a seperate frame (each frame varying in color) and combined it using something like this:

i have butterfly brushes on photoshop,how do i do it to make it like what i have as an example.using photoshop with imageready or animation shop and how do i do it.

You can change the opacity for every section of the animation.

For every step of the animation change the opacity of the image to make it fade.
To animate it using Imageready, you can search through our tutorials section.

blehhhh how many frames? its kind of confusing the way your trying to explain it.and layers.

For each layer, lower the opacity. So for example say
Layer 1 - Change the opacity to 90
Then make a new layer (layer 2) and change the opacity to 80.
And so on until it fades.

Then go to Imageready to make it animated.

but for each layer, do i have to put the same brush on the new one every time i make a new layer?..or do i just keep making new layers with lower opacity and leave it blank?
