do any of you listen to music while you do your homework? i used to listen to rock music while i was doing my algebra homework
 it actually helped me get finished with my homework faster. now when i listen to music while i do my homework, it does not help me at all which is sad

Most of the time it does. But sometimes it gets distracting. Like I start singing along. lol

yeah... because without music, my mind wanders... haha..
 but my parents dont understand that so i cant listen to music while im doing my homework so it takes me about twice as long because now i go around the house more often during my homework time to eat and stuff

sometimes. if it's a song that i don't know/like, i do my homework.
if it's a song i like and know the words to, i get distracted and start singing along.

Sometimes it helps. Listen to classical music or music thats calm at least so your brain funcutions better.

I only listen to classical music while doing homework.
Any other kind of music besides classical, will cause a distraction and I will never finish that homework. |

well when i listen to slow tempo music it usually helps cause then i'm not tempted to get up and dance around....so i usually put my norah jones cd in.....of course with her sometimes i get very, very sleepy.

yeah usually i do and it usually helps. but there are those occasions when i start singing along somewhat...detaining me from my hw.

Music always helps me. With music, I somehow concentrate better on my work. Without music I start thinking about other stuff.
