Soo...i just watched "See no evil, hear no evil", and it made me think---would you rather be born blind or deaf?

I think i'd rather be born deaf. It seems a lot easier to adapt to your surroundings if you couldn't hear. you could learn how to read peoples' lips and learn sign language to understand what they're trying to say. on the other hand, not being able to see seems to be a lot harder to live with. you always need someone to guide you and help you to find where you're going.

Deaf, because without sight, it's hard to see who you're talking to, what you're eating, writing things, etc..

probably deaf.

but being blind lets you get to know people and not judging them by appearance. you can also fine tune your other senses then you can if you were deaf. if it were for survival purposes, i'd choose blind (if i had maybe three years to train my ears).

that is really hard to pick, but i would say deaf--I would hate to imagine myself not being able to see my own self, people, family and friends..

For a designer that would really suck, but I'd rather never know what color is than what music is. Being deaf would scare me, really. I'd rather not see.

Be Deaf, becuz u could do more things while being deaf like, to see wut u, your friends, and your family look like. you couldn't do all of that if u wur blind. and plus if i was death, i would kno how to use sign language

I would rather be deaf because if I were blind, I couldn't do many things on my own. If I were deaf, I could still watch TV(w/ Closed Captioning), go on the computer, play video games, and a lot of other stuff.
