In all reality, if we did all go to the same school and have the same lunch, I'd probably be sitting with James, mostly by association.

So, he can be added to my table as well.

well, out of every one, only two people actually put us (excluding a couple who said 'the mods') specifically on the same list

we're not as closely associated as you might think.. which is odd

Yes, but many of the people who would sit with you two didn't bother to make actual lists.

^ yes, because how many people in real life say "okay these are the people i'm going to eat lunch with"

usually you just go to the lunchroom, find a table, and sit.

it also says a lot about a person. some will sit anywhere and be confident that people will join them. Some sit anywhere confident that no one will. Some look for their friends and sit there, and some wait for thier friends before sitting.

There's nowhere to sit alone in my school. Believe me, I tried ;ast year. I couldn't get a seat at an apathetic taable, so I ytied to huddle in a corner of the band hall, but that resulted in the director kicking me as he went by, so i gave that up

now that sucks.

last year i just ate in the senior lunchroom. i knew seniors, and the regular lunchroom was full up.

this year i've resorting to stealing freshmen's seats.

aww nicki. i'd sit with you in- well, not in the band hall, band directors scare me, but lunchrooms are quite useless places...

very intimidating too. our school had a problem with new kids (and freshmen) being afraid of the lunchroom and eating in the bathroom. so they got a club started to help new kids.

it's not that i had no one to sit with, but when i wanted to be alone- or more often, when the 2 people i had to sit with ran off to student council things- i was pretty stuck. my table was very easily overrun with unfriendly black jocks, and i was unwelcome alone. we have no senior lunchroom- it's all the same- and there's definitely no intimidation problem- we and freshmen mutually ignre each other, except the band ones who sit with me.

i wnet 3 weeks without finding my other friends, though. still no idea who' s in the other corner

the BDs don't leave the band room much, and if you're not in band they'll leave you alonne

yea, i mean, with three lunch periods, 1/3 of my friends should be in my lunch period, right? but ebcause of seating and such we never find each other...

so lunch kinda sucks now... i'm considereing just skipping it ouright, and playing risk in my 4th period class instead.

and i think the intimidation is more of, everyone's there talking to thier friends and there is absolutly nowhere to sit... no empty seats.

New kids are remarkably well recieved here

we have 4 lunch periods, but my friends see to be divided between two of them. top band traditionally sits by each other (with old arrangement, whole class would go) so we alll went towards that same side out of habit (I used to skip study hall to go to my friends' lunch since mine sucked).

if i had anywhere to skip to, i probably would. there's a senior slack classin the band room, so i could go play twister and stuff if anyone ever wanted to go with me

Well Katt obviously... Which is slightly weird actually, since I don't even sit with her in real life. Aaaaw I feel like a bad friend now.

Anywho... wow. She's like the only person I know here. And I've been here for... how long? Since June? Gah, I need to be more social.

btw, 300th post. It's about time.
