Taste of beer?, What do you think? Options

I'm almost done drink a beer, and I think it tastes like piss. I hate it, I don't even want to drink it to get drunk. I got wasted yesterday, but it doesn't taste as bad as it does right now. I hope I can drink the rest without puking.

i honestly don't like the way it takes. i tried it a couple of times and like most peopel my age i prefer wine coolers lol.

beer is definitely an acquired taste. try drinking it on a fuller stomach, it tastes better (in my opinion) if you drink on an empty stomach you'll get disgusted faster

i like the taste of some beers (Rolling Rock, Corona, Sam Adams, Yeungling). But for someone who have not tasted so many kinds and so much of it, beer tends to taste all the same

it's like sushi, oysters, coffee... sorta

don't drink it just to accomplish something... if it tastes like piss, spit it out! you can try other malt beverages like smirnoff or hard lemonade... but those tend to get more disgusting and sweetly nasty after a few.

but, it seems like you're under 21 (oh yeah, so am i... i'm 20) so you really shouldn't start worrying about drinking yet.

besides, after you drink a few, you smell like !@#$. No one wants to be near u cuz ur breath will reek and u won't be as coordinated

side effects of beer/drinking:

-partial loss of coordination (NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE. I almost got hit by a drunk driver when I was walking to the video store. He ran a red light and smashed into someone else, and is going to be locked away for at least several years. and prior to this he went to his friend's house for a few "innocent" drinks of beer. not too innocent eh?

-you will have the illusion that you can sing better

-you will be less shy, so you tend to say and do more stupid things

-you will smell horrible. beer can taste good to some, but it reeks the same to everyone (who's sober)

-u will kill some brain cells. if u drink constantly and heavily, u will get dumber

-there's a lot more, u get the idea

bottom line: u dont need beer and the problems it brings along until later. college is an okay time, i guess. but not too far before that

yuckyuckyuck I HATE beer. When I was younger, we used to travel a lot and I would get thirsty. But my dad hated stopping so he's just give me a beer =P

I was fine and I seemed to like it better back in the day. I like wine coolers. Ok maybe I'm a wimp, but I don't like all that strong liquor either.

beer tastes BAD. Especially belgian beer. Once my friend and i went shopping and bought beer, ewww, it tasted like pee, lol. Yes i know how pee tastes . Omg! horrible, but i love red bull. It ain't no beer though.

I was like.. 8-9 years old. and my dad was drunk. He called me over and told me to drink this drink. I drank and i spat it out. sprite+beer=still nasty.

I think its so gross xD its just something you need to drink a lot, then youll start liking it, just as with coffee :)

Well Macb, im 18 and I just graduated, don't act like you are so far ahead of me. I haven't really done much drinking, that is one reason I probably don't like it much right now. The beer I was drinking was also getting warm, and I was on an empty stomach. I was drinking at home, and I can't drive, I don't even have a permit yet, I should though. I know about the side effects of drinking. But it is nice to have a drink every once in a while, get a good laugh out of anything and everything. . I'll drink safely though, even when I go to college and stuff. Don't want to get drunk and lose my virginity, I've done good keeping it so far (Not that I have had any chances to lose it ). I'm taking a year out before I go to college. Get a job, get some money, get some practice on my music theory. I was drinking Old Milwaukee. Beer is cheap though, most likely because it is fermented piss! .

Some beer tastes OK but others dont...but I dont drink...so i guess it tastes bad.
