Do you consider someone spoiled if they get a brand new luxury car or just lucky. This is because one of my friends got a brand new bmw z3 for her 16th birthday and after she got her license....

For graduation it doesn't seem as bad considering that your going off to college and stuff.... but for a 16th b-day?.....

Depends. If you get it because you've worked hard (like 4 years of good grades) then it wouldn't be spoiled.

(Z3s aren't that expensive anymore. Z4s are, though)

But for your 16th birthday to be given luxury and power? Thats a bit much.

I may be biased though, since I bought my own car.

Well, like Brandon says, it really depends on how much the person's done to deserve it.

Just because someone receives luxuries from their parents, doesn't necessarily make them spoiled...if this person really appreciates all the things that their parents do for them, and is responsible and capable, then why not give them a luxury car?

It's another thing for the person to EXPECT luxuries from their parents, to be ungrateful or to drive the car irresponsibly.

I agree with Brandon and Gigi. If I got a Z4 for my birthday, no way would I f**k it up. I'd literally worship my parents after that.

If they deserve it, then they deserve it. But one can also make the argument that they're spoiled.

I wouldn;t call it neither

I would call it,

well if you were the humble son of a beggar who worked 70 hours a week at a restaurant and all of a sudden your father found a lottery ticket and won $1000000 and gave you a new lexus for your 16th b-day...can't consider that spoiled, just lucky.

so depends on situation.

I would consider it to be quite spoiled. My mom wouldn't pitch in a dime for my car.

Realistically, I would say that they're lucky, but think that they are spoiled if they are my age. But I also agree with what Bradon said.
