well...depends where you're going and what you're doing.
i usually would go dressy casual, like jeans and a nice top or something. *shrug* but yeah it depends what you're doing.

Yeah, it depends on what you're doing and where you're going. I would probably just wear jeans with a nice top.

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

since he's kinda older i'd maybe go for a sparkly colorful cami underneath a blazer, with nice jeans and heels. but like everyone else said, it depends on where you're going. whistling.gif have fun!

I wear regular clothes, ya know, jeans, maybe capris, shirt.
And wear a nice jacket to match.
Color-coordinate.
And find something you don't wear too often.
Or by something new.

Def. depends on where you're going. Usually, it's just nice regular clothes. So something I might wear to school, when I want to look good. (ie. cami, nice jacket/sweater, and nice jeans)

LIke what everyone said above. Depends on where you're going.

To Dinner/movie: A nice blouse with a semi-formal skirt.
Some activity (paintball, skating, etc.) Dress for the appropiately(sp?). LOL.

I thought "older" was a binary property. How can one "kinda older"?

ahhh, the rush...the feeling of being nervous before a first date. That feeling is so nice. :) I don't think i'll have that feeling again for a very, very long time, haha.
Wear something that you feel comfortable in. Meaning no 4 inch stiletto heels or anything lol. Wear something that makes you feel pretty and confident. That is the key! But don't go overboard. Just dress as yourself, Nice, sophisticated...
It also matters where you are going for this date,,,I'm guessing just the movies or something?
Try something that fits in with nice-casual.

Don't go overboard if you're going to a dinner and a movie or something.
You want to be comfortable, too.
And don't dress too tacky.
