I hope this is in the right section but how do you do a " fading" effect on psp x kind of like this layout
here I looked it up in tutorials but I didnt see anything that would help me. |

I think a lot of that is the image, but I think what you're asking about is feathering your selection... just make a selection around what you want to keep, feather it (in the selections menu), hit invert and then fill with white... and the picture will fade off into the white.
I think that's what you're looking for... |

You just select what you want to fade, right click and hit feather. that will bring up a little menu... enter how many pixels you want to be feathered, then go to Selection>invert selection... then you press delete (or alt+backspace to fill with a color)
