i'd save them, but i wouldnt want them to bother me about it. it's like you normally dont talk to them at all, but you just save them just because they're your parents?

but my dad makes too much of a fuss at home. so my mom.

Neither. I'd never save one over the other. My mother works hard and My father's has a sever disease. I'd never choose one over the other.
