Okay, mods feel free to move this.. I wasn't sure where the best place for this topic was.
I use Paint Shop Pro 7, and I recently submitted a graphic design to a company. They emailed me back saying that the graphic has to be at the most 300 dpi (dots per inch). What does that mean, and how do I lower my dpi? Is there an option like that in PSP7 or in another graphic design program? Thanks! ![]() |

are you sure it wasnt ppi (pixels per inch)?
for ppi, make a new document.

Moved to Web design
Do you have Photoshop? I think you can choose your dpi when creating a new document. |

^ For photoshop:
![]() where it says resolution put in 300 pixels per inch. voila! But since you said PSP7, i'd read Michelle's [insomniacs] post |

im pretty sure they meant pixels..
dots could mean anything. theres no set size for a "dot". email them back, but... i think they meant ppi. |
