Image Mapping Options

I used an image map in my mySpace that starts like:


<img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b353/toreality/webimgs/myspacelayout.jpg" alt="I Love Nolan!" usemap="#map" border=0>


However, everytime I submit, the '#' in 'usemap="#map"' beomes a '..'

Is there anyway to get around this. Can you host image maps from another server?

I had to use 'ISMAP' instead, but it only words on FireFox.

Any help would be great.
