mmk so i like this guy , and he knows it. he's known for about say a month.. maybe less. and he agreed to go on a date with me... but we still havent went, i guess he has been busy with games every weekend and so have i and whatnot. Anyway on a different subject my friend asked him if he liked me and supposedly he said "yes", then my friend asked him if we were going to go out and he supposedly said "yea, probably" (idk if i can believe that he said this, even though i dont think my friend would lie to me about that)... and since then he has sat by me and we've talked kinda outside school. But see we're both really really shy and kinda anti-social. So i dont know if I should keep pursuing liking him by talking to him (or possibly holding hands? idk if thats too much or not) or just like give up on the whole thing? any help is appreciated.. i hope i didnt confuse you guys.

i dont see the problem here.
why give up? if you gave up tryin to walk when you were a baby you'd still be crawling today, right? my ex and i knew we liked each other...but we didn't date till a month later, cuz he was busy...but we still ended up dating for over 6 months (including over a month where i was in china) nothing to worry about. if he likes you it'll happen eventually. dont give up when it hasn't even started. |

keep trying. i think the only problem is that u guys are just shy and cant make any moves. kinda remind me of elemetery(sp?) dating.....
I say just grow balls and talk to him. if you guys like each other, dont be ignoring each other. if you continue to act like it, then it will just disappear. |

should i ask him if he wants to hold hands?? or maybe thats too much? idk, so confuzzling lol. not positive he likes me... but if he doesnt then i would kinda feel a tad led on << would i have the right to feel that way? lol

um..you dont really ASK someone to hold hands..you just sort of do it.
and you have the right to feel whichever way you want and if your not sure he likes you. just ask him. i KNOW it is not easy at all. because if it were easy, i would have asked this guy a while ago. but i decided to wait...anyways if you think you REALLY want to know. the only way to know for sure is if you ask him. and i think its easier for him if you ask him if he likes u cuz that way he can just say "yes" or "no". AND when you ask him then he'll get the idea that you like him. so if he likes you he'd be more keen to tell you that he does, in fact, like you. dont know if that made sense but yeah/ |

Simply put.. just go for it. You really don't have much to lose with him anyway, right? Just say something like "so when's that date of ours gonna happen?" and set a date for it... and go from there. The whole holding hands thing is sort of irrelevant to your situation, isn't it?

hey, i personally know that waiting to do something with a guy (in my case a girl) will end sooner or later, so go for it. If his shy then its his fault. But u never know until you try.
