Day Star and a Leap of Faith

God put a star in the sky, of my day/
and it shows with an amazing brilliance-
and i know it's name, It's in this-
that i'm free from the treachery of night-

there's this one thing in my life-
that's so utterly beautiful that she-
drives all the daily things from my-
mind and it, lights my way on the path of life-

there's the sun, and there's this other star-
that shines during the day, to keep me alive-
When the floods come that it should drive-
me down, it's there to carry me away-

as if the wings of this angel i could cleave-
to in my time of pain, and let it drive-
it down, so that the floods should drain-
that this divine sent peace would reave-
the songs of sated related demonic plagues-
from my eyes, and prove to the world i'm alive-

where could the purest of snow fall-
so that it shouldn't melt and live beyond-
take the fate from death's clasp and-
form the bands of light that'll stay-
the cool breeze of glacial seas-

In this arctic wonderland, a peace-
a celebration in the whispy breath-
that the end should be the beginning-
that the waves of death should freeze-

where her stellar steep, deep in decrees-
habitual reigns that keep the feigns-
where the world's light hit's her just right-
and it's this sight that i proclaim-
that i've but fallen in a vast sea-
and in that leap, i await delivery-
frozen in the air just above certain death-
that this should be my final breath-

that someone would take my hand and fly-
me on the sweet ocean air and be grand-
as we chase the sunset's horizon forver and-
that this subtlety would be something more-
than just a blackened sea of eventuality-
