spencer has already voted.
guys, if you are on the committee, try and be signed in as much as possible when you post, or indicate who you are when you post as a guest if you arent on the actual committee, you may submit ideas and join in discussion (indeed we want as many people to be involved as possible), but please refrain from voting on final decisions. |

That was me, and the only thing I've ever posted without actually signing in. It looked like someone had gone through my history yesterday, so I was being paranoid and signing out of everything.

Ok, with that about the way, what about this issue of the required number of post counts. I think it should be something reasonable to obtain for any two month applicants but at the same time showcase how much the members interact with the community. I'll start by saying in the range of 500- 1000? Too high to low low? Any feedback on this?
Ok and I know someone mentioned this before but shouldnt be have a pinned thread or something for motions that have passed? |

A pinned thread sounds good, so far it should contain the 2 month join time, and also the 2 week warning.
About the number of posts...I think between 750-1000 sounds good. |

i think the 5 ppd about covers that. no need for another arbitrary limit.

I think we need more than 5.
Being a mod is a step up from an official member. They should be more active than the average member. 5 PPD is a rule for official members. |

no, i agree with heather and justin that 5 is fine
and i dont think we need a minimum post count ESPECIALLY for those applying for xanga/myspace/livejournal/etc, as their post count isnt as likely to be high if they arent as active in the community forums as well, and it a shame to pass over that experience |
