.................

wtf. it's not freaking funny. avian flu, mainly kills off CHICKENS. not turkeys. oh yeah..i find it really funny that avian flu, especially this one, H5N1 could be the Spanish Flu, in a different form. i find it really funny that it will probably mutate soon to spread between humans, and maybe, you know, like Spanish Flu in the early 1900s, it'll infect half the population of the earth again, and kill half of those who're infected.

yeah. that totally make me crack up rolleyes.gif

it WILL reach the U.S.... they expect it to hit like one year from now but u never know.. with air travel and stuff.. it could spread in weeks...

we should be prepared by then.

what makes it takes so long is the mutation from bird to human which can take a while.

Well, as long there's transportation or any object that travel over the ocean can spread illness to other people, no matter what.

There is a good chance it's going to come here in the USA...
We would be prepared, but I wonder, how well?

this avian flu, in the current mutated to humans state, is about as likely to be spread as lung cancer.

the flu is so spreadulent because it usually infects the uupper resperatory system...

this one infects deep withint the resperatory system.

FYI, it's called Avian Flu, not bird flu.

The virus which causes Avian Flu is H5N1, and if it is spread to humans, it can be fatal.

It has already killed numerous people in some Asian countries, and it's going to get worse if it happens to spread in Europe as well.

god. the VIRUS mutates so that it can be contracted between humans. moving australia won't do sh*t about it. migratory birds bring it to all countries. sooner or later, it'll become a pandemic in the world. _dry.gif

I live in a neighbouring country of Turkey and I do think it's funny. This is black humor at it's best kids..._dry.gif I am so scared of this that I have stopped eating chicken, turkey etc... Well thats not so bad only that I am mutating into a vegetarian. (cows- mad, pork- can't eat it, chicken- avian flu-rabbit-too cute, lamb-too fatty, plus it tastes funny) Anyone here can reccomend me a good veggie recipe book? We'll see what fish illness they discover next. I have a feeling Mother Nature is trying to get rid of us.
