new hair style advice?, getting it cut in a few days... Options

Ok, so I've needed a new hairstyle for a while. I'm redying my hair in a week or so and want a new cut for it.

FYI- I'm looking for something hot and 'weird'. It has to be black&white color compatible cuz that's what I'm dying it.

This is my hair now (it's a carppy picture and pretty old, but generally the same hair wise)


This is the style I'm most set on getting at the mo' unless I find something better:

The side of the face strands would be longer though and the back would be slightly shorter and layered like crazy so when it's not in 'tails it'll still look styled.

Alrighty, so now you should have an idea of what I want, ne? Please help me decide on something! I'm planning on getting it cut in a few days and if there's something spiffier, I'd love to know.
