Sometimes you really got to think about this, if you have a long vacation, you really don't want to start the school routine again. Yet, when you have no vacations, you long for a day off from hectic school work.

I would like more evenly distributed small ones =] and maybe one long one in the summer.

I prefer more even distributed holidays throughout the year. I think that way you still get a break from everything but you won't get lazy. Does that make sense?

id go with combo. i went to china for vacation for 2 months. and then i went on a cruise to the bahamas for 4 days. haha.

depends where Im going,.
when I go to Malaysian [I live in Canada] I usually go in the summer & I stay there for about 1 month [half of my summer]. sometimes I go there in the Winter/Spring but only for 2 weeks or so. |

I usually like a 2-3 week long one in the summer, and then a few short, weekend trips during the school year :)

shorter ones...but what do you consider short and long?
to me, short - 3-5 days long - 6-10 days so yeah, i'd prefer to have a few short vacations throughout the year rather than one long one per year. |

Short like.... 3, 4 days.
Long like, a week or two. Schools really should think about this stuff cuz waking up xtremely early in the morning is just too painful. (Not a morning person ^_^ ) |

 short ones thru out the year, I like to keep busy and it makes the year go quicker for me.

i think they should have a combo of them both. long vacation here, short one there. |
