Ashlee Simpson is gonan be the musical guess on SNL. Hmmm it porbably will be good if she doesn't lip sync. But I lvoe Ash so I'm giving her a second chance. She better not screw this up

Haha, she'd better not. If she didn't learn a lesson from the last fiasco, I would lost all respect for her as a performer.

I feel bad for Ashlee. she had acid reflex at the time when she had to perform on Saturday Night Live. I mean, that could screw up your vocal cords.

but, I hope she does awesome! happy.gif

hm. If she does screw up this time, it's gonna get prtetty bad for her. I'm rooting fer her..it's like everyone disregards her explanation and just recognize her as some who can't sing.

I hope she doesn't do liek a fake lip sync thing. It was funny liekonce then it just got old. I mena she trying to show us how she doesn't care and she can only grow fro that experience, well if she doesn't care so much, then please stop telling/ showing us. Ahhh it'll be super corny if she pretends to lip sync

But a how dow... hmm that could be intresting

now..i have to say...thats not true. because i have terrible acid reflux. so bad that i couldnt swallow and couldnt eat solid food for 6 weeks. but i could talk. i never had a problem talking.

so...im not saying that she doesnt have acid reflux..but if it was bad enough to hurt her vocal cords, she wouldnt have been swallowing either.

Woot. mellow.gif Let's hope she doesn't mess up. I know she had problems with her voice, health-wise, but hopefully she can pull it off this time.

You don't know that she had Acid Reflex. There were 3 reasons given out by different people who worked with her. More than 3 actually. There were reasons like, "oh yeah, the band was tired." Or, the acid one, and theres one where Ashley was tired, ashley was depressed, ashley was high, Ashley is just plain stupid, blah etc etc.

Because of what had happened on SNL (I think)... But I think she also sounded terrible...

But yeah, let's hope she doesn't mess up this time. I never really liked her but I guess we should give her another chance.

it would be terrible if it happened again. ahem, for.. *cough* ashlee lovers that is. I like her music. but ever since she did that on SNL, I have been kind of wishy-washy (in-between) about whether I'll listen to her ever again.

Well, it's fairly obvious that she was, in fact, lip syncing. I don't think there're any questions about that aspect of her performance.

Yes, i admit. I like alot of Ashlee Simpson's songs..I mean c'mon they are so catchy, and unique, and they make you want to dance around and sing it at the top of your lungs.
About the whole "lipsync" thing...I mean i'm sure she had a good reason to even do that in the first place...her voice probably shot from singing all the time. And i'm sure every artist at one point or another has had to do it. lol, so go her

Right, because we didn't see it live, or anything. There wasn't singing going on without her even attempting to. It had nothing to do with her band playing the wrong song. They put on the wrong tape. Now, why would they need the recorded version if she were actually going to sing?

Also, it's worse when she doesn't lip sync, since she lacks any actual talent, so she may as well. I don't really give a shit.

I should have rephrased that. It is obvious that was lip syncing, but the reason? Is she a phony? Acid reflux?
I've heard her live, and she's fairly okay. I always thought she was a good singer, and the people who called her fake...does that mean they think that's not her real voice?

I just don't think her real voice is any good. I wsa once forced to watch the Ashlee Simpson Show (it was pointless. and painful.) and she was doing one of her first performance and sounded awful, then made excuses like, oh, that just didn;t go well because i was trying to dance too. but when she stood still, she didn't get any better. Then there was the Orange Bowl. Lip-syncer or not, they do a damn lot of dubbing
