What you can do is create a div/iframe into your page. That div/iframe will account only for the blog. Your main page will link to your wordpress blog so it will appear on your page and users won't have to click to get to a separate blog page.

thanks!! very helpful biggrin.gif do i have to change something in my current wp template (default)? like the CSS, or remove anything? since the iframe is going to be invisible, i'm guessing the background of the actual wp blog page that is going to appear in the iframe is going to be transparent too? huh.gif

Yes if you use a iframe the wp would appear. So whatever you see on your wp page is what you will see in the iframe.

So you can edit templates, (don't touch the main if you don't have a clue what your doing) , change the css of it too to match your layout.

Arghh the wp template things are very confusing and long blink.gif My eyes are hurting lol...does anyone have a simple template that changes the blog template to just be a blog (with the comment links, etc., and no sidebar) with transparent background? I searched but haven't found anything...so muddled now x__x

<edit>Is it template? Or theme?? -definitely dizzy now-</edit>

^ I can tell you how to do it .
For one maek sure your set your iframe background to allow transparency.
Then Go to your wp template and look in the sidebar template and delete everything in there but leave the sidebar file. leave all the files.
Then go to your header template and copy everything in there, and save it somewhere on your comptuer just in case you need it again. Then you can try to delete everything in there so that the blog only shows.
Then go to your stylesheet.
Change the colors to match your layout.
Then what you need to do is make the background colors transparent. If transparency doesn't work make it the color of the background you want for the iframe.

template/theme same thing. But in wp your editing the "Theme" .
bouncy-bubbles.net may help you if you want a premade theme, but it would jsut make things a bit more complicated.

^ Something with your sidebar template. Did you have anything linked in there or did you edit something in it before deleting it?

make sure you didn't DELETE your sidebar. Just the contents in it. You just edit by logging into your wp-admin

ok since you don't need the sidebar . On your main template try taking out this part
CODE
<?php get_sidebar();?>

and instead of downloading and reuploading just log into wp admin . Go to presentation, and theme editor.

Oh and just to let you know. If you use the "classic" template its much easier to edit. Than using default.
