Remove Details, Schools, Companies, and Groups, How do I? Options

Is there a code to remove my details, schools, companies, and groups? Or at least some of them? Thanks.

to hide your groups:
- go to account settings
- profile settings
- uncheck display groups i belong to

What exactly does the .hidethem part do? It doesn't seem to do anything on my page. And is there a way to get ride of the space on the left of my interests that is left from where the titles were?

Here's an example http://www.myspace.com/theworstlines. Like how she has her interest boxes. Notice how mine are still skinny as if the titles were still there.
