I've been thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend lately. The purpose is because:

1) I don't like him as much as I used to.
2) He doesn't much of an effort to see me.

However, what's holding me back is that I'm afraid to hurt his feelings if I do break up with him. My family and friends told me plenty of times that I can do better and that he's one very lucky guy to be with me. To be honest, he isn't an appealing guy...yet, I tend to go after the personality than the looks.

My question is...what should I do? Stick with him and see how it goes? Or search for other fishies in the sea?

just try one last time to rekindle your relationship and if that doesn't work just break up with him.

staying with him when you don't like him anymore is only going to hurt him more. there is no such thing as a break up that doesn't hurt anyone.

I agree... try to at least see if you can rekindle the relationship. But if that doesn't work, then talk to him and break it up...
I'm kinda in the same situation, but we're both trying hard to make our relationship better (or, at least I am...)

If you really dont want to be with him. No use in dragging along a relationship that isnt going anywhere.

No matter what, youre going to hurt his feelings. But it would hurt him more if you stayed with him without feeling anything for him.

Thanks to the people who replied, I appreciate it. happy.gif

Me and him already tried to work things out, but it just goes back to the beginning of the problem. I'd have the inner guilt if one day I told him that its off....if he had no idea what was coming to him.

Hell yes, there is.

On topic, I tend to agree with the previous posters. Try and talk about it wit this guy and if that doesn't work, leave him.

PS. Dayum girl your fine.

pinch.gif had the same problem. =/

oh wellssss

err.. it depends on you too if you still have feelings.
if you still wanna WORK it out.
and.. try and work it out again.
never hurts to try again. but after a while, if its still the same.
then maybe just go for someone else that can treat you better.
maybe you know you deserve better. happy.gif

Alright, I'll try to talk to him about it the next time he isn't too "busy" to see me.

Thanks for the advice. biggrin.gif
