QUOTE(Gearbox @ Sep 28 2005, 4:16 PM)
I tried some stuff called "Darlie" (called Black Man Toothpaste in chinese) which I found in Hong Kong; It's really nothing different than any other toothpaste brand, like Colgate. Then again, Darlie was bought by Colgate in 1985, so that may have something to do with it.

Originally, it was called Darkie and had a black man wearing a black hat as their logo. You can tell why they had to change their name.

My mother use that. She likes it better than Amercian toothpaste.

Oh, and also, North American toothpaste in Hong Kong is more expensive compared to here. So when I go to HK I refuse to buy a tube of Colgate or Crest.

i havent left the country...but in most cases id probably remember toothpaste.

i was watching ripleys believe it or not one time and they had whiskey flavored toothpaste that was produced in the early 1900's or something in america. i thought that would be weird.
