Yo CB pple, I like to ask this question, ever tried toothpaste from another country? I need some opinions on this question, recently i went to Germany and stayed there for a month. I forgot toothpaste, bought some german toothpaste and man did it totally make me puke when i brushed my teeth in the morning. I had to live with it for a month, anyone had similar experience?

Why didn't you go to another store to find American toothpaste?

Well I stayed at my mom's friend's house once and they had this chinese herb toothpaste crap. I ended up not using toothpaste because it tasted so bad. It was only for a day, though.

I tried some stuff called "Darlie" (called Black Man Toothpaste in chinese) which I found in Hong Kong; It's really nothing different than any other toothpaste brand, like Colgate. Then again, Darlie was bought by Colgate in 1985, so that may have something to do with it.

Originally, it was called Darkie and had a black man wearing a black hat as their logo. You can tell why they had to change their name.

I used toothpaste with a guy in a top hat and tuxedo on the tube when I was in Hong Kong. It was a little more minty than I was used to, but it didn't make me PUKE.

Oh right. Darlie.

Oh, and the brand with the cartoon lion on the front, in fruity flavours.

Wowm really? It probably made your mouth feel dirty huh?

Anyways, when I went to Vietnam, I never tried their toothpaste...I dont think...but they have the same brand like Colgate(sp?) and that's all I know...I think they have Crest too. I'm not so sure but I havent tried their toothpaste. We bring them...partly because my mom's all...strict about sharing things with other people. _dry.gif
