wasnt sure on where to put this. feel free to move it.

have you ever had a sub that goes along with anything you say? like all you have to do is say that youve already done that worksheet and then they're just like okay and dont make you do it.

we had a sub like that my freshman year in science. we were learning about rollercoasters and we told the sub we had already done all the work that was planned. so, we just watched good burger instead.

if youve never been able to...i guess just share something that you think is funny that happened when you had a sub.

edit://
i changed the title because kiera got confused pinch.gif

I don't have substitutes anymore. If the instructor can't come, class is cancelled. Whee!

Not really...
Well, the subsitute did in 1st grade.
Maybe because they were easy on us at that time?
I don't know...
But now, they're just stricter.
Which is probably for the best.

Yeah kinda..the substitute let us use notes for the test and the notes really got all the answers. haha

And then there was this one sub last week, I think, he let us do anything. haha It was awesome. We listened to music and everything.

Haha yeah, I had a substitute teacher that told gruesome/funny war stories the whole class period... blink.gif He was.... interesting I feel kinda bad when a sub doesn't know ANYTHING, so they rely on the students and they take advantage (in a bad way) of him/her. You usually don't see those ones on the payroll next year.

Yeah, before. Not anymore. Because we know we haven't done it and we might get graded/quizzed on it.

The last sub I had was a fobby filipino guy who talked to us about Latin and how to be a "successpull student" in my Spanish class.

For the most part our subs stick to the lesson plan. Unless they're sharing nuggets of wisdom like that dink.

Subs usually go along with what we say to an extent... I had this one really crazy one who was really freaky though... He kept swearing, and did the stupidest things...I think he mite have had turrets.

Hmm, it depends. A lot of the substitute teachers are really lenient and cool and listen to whatever we say and let us do whatever (listen to music, do other homework, etc). Some teachers even let us out at the warning bell (5 minutes early). However, some teachers are strict and want us to listen to them.

omg this reminds me of MR. WEAVER my Latin subsitute haha oh wow. yeah well he was there for three whole weeks [from the beginning of school] cuz our teacher's husband was real sick and stuff. anyways...Mr. Weaver was so funny...he looks like a turtle, wore ONE platform shoe and gallopped around saying "I hurt my nichte!" the reason for the one platform shoe was that he hurt his hip but he called his hip a nichte? I dunno he was odd. I was so happy when Mrs. Robertson [our original teacher] came back haha

Haha, sometimes. They are usually clueless and listen to us. But other times, the original teacher leaves like 85 pages of notes, so everything goes exactly right. Nonetheless, I love substitutes =]

Those subs do PARTLY of what we are supposed to do, when the teacher is back, uh oh, we would be a bit behind.

Well there's this sub that subs for all levels of Spanish at my high school, and she always did the busy work packets with us. Like she'd read the sentence and tell us the answer, and then we'd write it down. It was pretty awesome, cause we didn't have to do any busy work =D

Lol, usually in our classes when we have a sub and we don't like him/her we pull pranks, like once we all said "moooo" in unison at like 1:45

I've had subs about 5 or 6 times this year, and I have yet to have anyone different than this one woman. It's so wierd! It's been in close to every class!
