ok. people.

IF YOU LIKE A GUY/GIRL THEN FREAKIN FIND OUT IF THEY FEEL THE SAME.

do it in a casual way so that they wont think anything of it. it's this lovely thing called communication!
if they say they do like you, then ok you should know what to do.

if they say they don't like you in that way, then okay, you should know what to do once again.

---------
laying off & keeping it the same are the same thing by the way.

i know this is going to sound horrible...but is he expendable?

i have this thing where i cannot stay just friends with my guy friends and recently, a one of my good relationships turned out like crap and everything is swirling into the toilet...

so, if you have no other guy friends that you can turn to like him, don't go for it. but if you do, go for it.

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

it depends how comfortable you are with each other... but take it slowly. show some hints, and if he doesnt respond (or if he's just clueless) you can either back off or tell him. there's always that chance that he'll reject you, or that he feels the same way. you can never really know until you try

I went through the same thing. Just tell him. He might like you back, and if not, chances are it won't ruin your friendship... might be awkward for a little bit, but no big deal.
not telling him will put a strain on your friendship.
