Fled to Hawaii! It’s a great place to live peacefully and be relaxed. Hopefully, the bad stuff won’t go along in your mind that often. _smile.gif

Maybe, SoCal ?

Yeah, these locations are very hot for now. (Obviously, it's Summer)

I live near Sugar Land, of course I'm worried. I was born in one of the first places the hurricane will hit. I'm terrified. Evacuating to San Antonio tomorrow though the freeways are jammed pack and nothing seems to be moving.

Houston. Same house for over 10 years. We've had termite and foundation problems throughout most of those. Hurrah.

Seriously though. Highways are at a standstill and people are worried they're gonna run outta gas and not be able to get off the freeway. It sucks. I'm gonna go find something funny on TV to watch to get my mind off this. Waiting on my aunt to bring my 11 month old cousin who will be leaving with us. That makes us a party of 6 now.

i realized today that that was why my friend was in dallas.
we're taking in an old family friend. or actually an old family family for about a week.

my dad is overseas, but he has us keeping the cars filled with gas, just in case.
i'm not worried about myself. just my friends that live in that area. ermm.gif

ps. dallas kids, visit me?

I know, I live right by Highway 6, and all the cars are backed up so far. It's cuh-razy.
So my parents decided we won't evacuate. But I'm not too worried about it. (Even though I live in the Sugar Land area)

Haha, when I moved to Texas, my brother tried to convince me that all the houses in Sugar Land were made of Sugar.

We still haven't left for San Antonio. I live by Sugar Land (its named that because Imperial Sugar used to have a factory here, btw) but my house is really really unstable. I don't think it would survive the 70mph winds they have predicted for our area. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to leave a dog? He's too big to come with us, we're cramming 5 grown people into a 4-seater car as it is. I thought about leaving him outside on the leash but the winds...and in the bathroom but I don't want him to be stuck if the roof caves or something _unsure.gif

Maybe ask a neighbor who isn't leaving? Or you could drop him off at my house..I'm not going anywhere :P

So I was watching Channel 2, and there's a lady that called in and she left MoCity at 12.30 last night and got to Katy and 8.30. It's cuh-razy
And I went to look at Highway 6 this morning--it looks like a parking lot. Seriously.

well, I'd have to say

it's getting WEAKER.

WOOOHOOOOO...

http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/at200518.html

look there to see... the winds will be about 70mph when it hits Sugar land / Houston area (i think) so........ it should be okay.
