First, do you agree with people dating outside their race? No I do not. I'm not saying don't do it because 1.) I have no control over others and 2.) If the feelings are there... there isn't much to do to stop it.

Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race?  A slight bit. It's pretty much saying their own race isn't good enough for them so they have to look torwards others.

Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background? Date maybe. Marry, no.

Date freely, date who you like, regardless of race, thats my logic and I'm sticking by it.

Whats with so much hate on VisualFusion? The man simply stated what he had felt about the questions presented before him. He only said that he didn't agree, he never said that it is "WRONG" or that people "SHOULD NOT DO IT". Yet, there are people calling him an "idiot". Are you kidding me?

First, do you agree with people dating outside their race?
Yes. There are so many amazing people of different races...Why would you restrict your experiences to only one race of people? If you have feelings for someone, there's no reason why you shouldn't date them. PLUS, I'm the product of an interracial relationship, so naturally, I don't have a problem with it. biggrin.gif

Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race?
No. How the hell would they be? It's not like, by dating a white guy, I'm saying "I'm not Black or Thai now. I'm white." A lot of people tell me that I'm ashamed of being what I am, because I'm dating a white guy, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I enjoy being Black. I enjoy being Asian...having feelings for someone who just happens to be white doesn't change that. I've never dated a Black guy or an Asian guy...that doesn't make me less Black or less Asian.

Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background?
Heck yes! I'll date anyone, as long as they have a personality I like.

I think there was a topic about this but I just want to add more to it.

First, do you agree with people dating outside their race?
Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race?
Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background?

Me, I've never dated anyone who was Portuguese or Caucasian. I've dated only Black and Hispanic guys. I find nothing wrong with it.
I have this friend who is Indian and he says he will never date anyone who wasn't Indian. And his parents don't allow it either.

1: I agree with people dating outside thier race always there is nothing wrong with that at all shows unity.

2: Hell no if someone wants to date outside thier race so be it love has no color.

3: Yes I would

I don't discriminate but I am kinda picky happy.gif I like em caramel complexion or yellow I like the peanut butter and chocolate effect I also go on how people dress and smell.

I can understand if he was a Native American who didn't wanna date outside his race but the but the India Indian its not quite the same now and days you rarely see Natives but the India guys you can find them anywhere lol wel thats my 2cent.

First, do you agree with people dating outside their race? Yes I do.
Do you feel if they do, they are sort of betraying their own race? Hell no.
Would you ever date someone who wasn't of your background? Of course...and I have several times too.

How could you restrict yourself to only those of the same race? That sounds a lot like racism to me. Maybe not exactly racism but close to it because you are discriminating against all the races unlike your own. There aren't even different races, we are all ONE race, the human race. There is only different ethnicities and it's hard for me especially to only stick to my one ethnicity because I don't have just one ethnicity. I'm not just Korean or just Chinese or just French or just this or that. I'm mixed. Everyone should look past what color skin you have or what type of background you have and look at the real person there. Then that is how you should choose whether or not to date a person. If a reason why you would never date someone is based on their ethnicity I really, really feel sorry for you and in fact I pity you and you disappoint me.
