Has anybody read the Hobbit around here? We are reading it in class now. When we first started reading it was ok. Now I think it's cool on this journey for gold from a dragon. I just don't quite get all of the dwarves though.

I read it a long time ago during leisure time.
This is so far the only LOTR book that I have been able to finish.
I'm really bad at figuring out which character is which... pinch.gif

I'm still reading it. I think it's ok so far it just is so weird how they introduce all of the dwarves and some of them never do anything.

I've got it. Read it last year. It's kinda boring & confusing, but overall it's pretty good.

I read that book in 6th grade, then again last year. I actually understood it the second time I read the book. It's pretty interesting, although some parts I got a little lost.

In 4th (on my own) and 7th (for class) grades. I wasn't terribly impressed the first time, but I didn't mind it, but I hated it the second. The forst sequence was far too lengthy and unnecessary.

I tried, but I can't stand books with a lot of detail, they bore me.

I read the book and loved it.
Had a harder time reading Lord Of the Rings though.

I love The Hobbit. I've read these:
The Silmarillion
The Hobbit
Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, Return of the King)

Now, even though I love The Hobbit, it's my least favorite of these books. (My favorite is The Silmarillion).
