Anybody like Angel Sanctuary? Options

Hey! I just wanted to know if there is anybody out there who likes Angel Sanctuary? I've just started reading it and OMG I LOVE IT!!! It's officially one of my favourite anime/mangas

Yes.... its dramatic and ok I only bought #1- though i didnt bother to get the rest 2 years ago. I bought a scanalation CD with the whole series plus LIVE(same creator) for 1.00- i lost it and i only read #2 NOOOOO A DOLLAR DOWN THE DRAIN!!! its all, yeahhhhhhh incest.........it scared me sometimes
i couldn't read it anyway cause i was a christian to start with....

I'm christian too but I still (for some reason) find it so interesting ... the incest IS kinda weird and all but I love the whole story with the angels/demons/humans thing

I love angel sanctuary actually. I've read all 20 mangas. I've only boughten up to vol 7 but I plan on buy the rest when I have the money to do so. I downloaded the chapters from a site and read it. It's very good and has a great story line, but that's to be expected with Kaori Yuki-sensei. ^^ She's a lovely artist and always has a great story line with all her books.

If you haven't read it, I suggest you do. Well, if you don't mind a brother loving his sister being the reason Setsuna does certain things, but there are some nice twists in the series. I'd name a few but I don't want to spoil anything. A few characters most people would like are Sevi, Lucifer, Belial and I'm sure a lot of you will like Alexiel once you see her trust personality. Michael is also a great character. Hell, all the four elemental angels are, Michael(Fire angel), Gerbiel(Jibril)(water angel), Uriel(earth) and Raphael(wind angel). But yea.. ^^ there are quite a few characters you'll come to love and some you'll come to hate. I'll stop rambling now. o_o;

I've never seent he OVA and from what I hear it doesn't cover very much and everything from like certain parts are just shoved altogether into one episode. I don't like the sound of that. ._.;

Read a little bit of the manga, but never the anime.

Yes, it is a great story and I recommend some of Kaori Yuki's other stories as well. She's very talented with this type of thing. ^^

It was interesting in a sense, but I just couldnt stand it really. The plot was far too simple, and then the end was just messed up. And I was left wanting more.

The anime of Angel Sanctuary only covers up like the first 3 or so mangas and there are 20 mangas all together. There are only 3 OVA episodes, if I recall. But the manga is much better and Angel Sanctuary isn't anything like Akira. o_O How could you come up with that? I mean, rosiel and him being an inorganic angel, but if you actually read the manga, you'll understand why he is how he is. Like I said, the anime doesn't cover everything. You really need to read the manga. It's more complex than the anime lets on, I'm sure.

you thought the plot was simple? Really? Wow! I agree with RoseOfBlackFlame you should read the manga. I think the manga is wayy better

I suggest reading the manga first.. ^^' Manga may seem to shove a lot of information at you, but it seems to be far better than the anime.

It is funny. XD It has it's hilarious points. Kaori Yuki-sensei is good with her type of humor. It has it's blunt humor and then it's got the humor only a few would get. ^-^;

Yea, you have to know how she works to understand some humor that's in it. XD Sometimes when I read it I go 'Wha?' and then I stop and think for a moment and remember some things and I'm like: "Oh yea! Haha." And yea.. o.o; I just adore her artwork too. n.n ~Huggles Lucifer, Michael, Raphael and Kurai and Alexiel.~

Didn't I make a topic on this already? Anyways, yeah I made something about Angel Sanctuary. I haven't read it, I downloaded somehting that had clips of it in it. When I saw the blood and stuff, I got hooked right on.

<_< Angel Sanctuary isn't just bloodshed and fighting; you have to actually understand what's going on. Yea, there's a lot of fighting but only when it's needed.

Hyde of L'arc En Ciel as one of the based on characters(Rociel)! OF COURSE I LOVE ANGEL SANTUARY! Its pretty intresting along with the love connection with his sister too not that im into incest, but im also not bothered by it. And the artwork is one of the many art work i adore!

Yeah the incest thing is kind of weird but I like this manga.
It gets kind of confusing with all the different levels of angels and other stuff for me.
