I am not sure if this will work, but you could try this. Say you make like 20 layers or what ever, in the first layer have the text really small, then as you go through each layer, make the text bigger and bigger.

ok im at school right now so im not sure iif this works but if u go to free transform cudnt u make it so one side was like wider than anothe..? sry if this doesnt help =/
