My school blocked xanga, is there any way to get on it? |

They even blocked all forums and if you try to get on aim express that's blocked too.

On the computers at my school we can just go to Internet Options, Connections, LAN Settings, and delete the proxy name or whatever.

lol. my school block it too. but i download a firewall to block the restricted websites which in this case xanga. lol and it works.

They've block it at my school, but main.xanga.com/... and if you go from there with 'main' it worked for our school. =] but now they unblocked it.

haha. my school blocked all the links to the proxy servers. >.< but i can get on xanga. Cause that beta.xanga.com thing.

when my school blocked myspace we all got on through proxy servers.

IF you CAN install AOL 8.0 or 9.0, you will be able to see any site you want, lol you can even open 2 websites using the same Java scripts, like playing yahoo games, with yourself, like pool,chess, since you can login from 2 different yahoo IDs (1 on your normal browser and the other one in the AOL browser) and play fooling the yahoo games java counters, so you can gain more ranking points, oups? it was a secret? heh i dont like secrets anyway.

my school blocked it but not very well its only blocked if you select it from the drop-down menu that comes down when you're typing in the address bar, if you type it in fully there's no problem

i go to this really high tech school. everything is blocked. and they have this thing too, where okay, pretend there's this new thing, like myprofile.net or something. if a lot of people log into it, it shows up on the school's internet logs (like history) and they check it out and block it.
beta.xanga.com used to work but i don't try it anymore; because we have to log in at our school's libraries and computers, so they can TRACK EVERYTHING you do. its creepy. hope beta.xanga.com works for you. |

^my school's done that too. beta.xanga or premium.xanga used to work, but no more. there's really no way around it without hacking that a) i don't know how to do and b) could get me suspended. my friend's brother got expelled and lost his scholarship to MIT last year for putting a keyboard password thing on school computers as part of some sort of senior prank

my school blocked xanga
 and they blocked myspace they have yet to block cb but they probably will cause they monitor the computers and look at what you are doing and everytime i get into a new community site and i'm in their computer lab i'll be doing fine and then all of a sudden wham! you've been blocked like you click the back button and it goes away for like 3 secs and it comes back it's so annoying.. cause they monitor your stupid screens.. i just want to smack them...the only way i can ever get around it is if this one lady is gone and then i'm like good all the other ones don't care so i can go on without being blocked but this one lady is like religous.. and the only way i can get into a new community and her not know is if she is helping a kid lol.. okay that got really long.. i'll try the beta.xanga.com thing ty |

Wow. My school only blocks games. But like some teachers give ya speicla permission if you wanna play games or something like that. Permission only though :D
