I heard Katie Holmes was up for it, but I'm not sure they gave it to her.

no naomi watts is in it...thank god cause i don't like katie holmes

i would have thought that Peter Jackson would have been tired and really rich after making 3 lotr movies but apparently not. i liked the trailor so hopefully it's cool.

As much as I admire Peter Jackson and his LOTR work, I still think this is gonna kill the classic.

lord of the rings was a classic and he didnt kill that, plus i saw a special on himin Vh1 or something and i got to see how friggin dedicated he is to his movies and making sure he doesnt fail a classic. so that why i have confidence in him.

Well King Kong was made about 40 years before the original LOTR. Might be sterotypical, but it would seem that the farther back the movie is, the harder it is to revive just as good or better.

The movie looks horrible ..... what does this storyline have anything to do with the original King Kong? If anything, it sure as hell isn't going to be faithful to the original.

And btw, you guys gush over Peter Jackson. Have you even watched any of his other movies other than LotR?

3 hours? My god. I suppose I'll have to bring my seat cushion like I did for all the Lord of the Rings. Whooo.

Its a well done remake.

But it was laaaaame.

Beastiality and romance don't go together.
