Hi everyone! First of all let me say that I am 24, married, WANT to have a baby, and I have a pregnancy test in my bathroom waiting to be used. I'm supposed to start my period on September 12, which as of now is tomorrow. My question is, how soon should I take the test? Should I do it tomorrow morning and not wait out the day? I was going to wait till the weekend if it didn't come to give it some time, but should I just take it and get it over with? Basically, I want to be pregnant and I want to know the best time to get a positive result. Oh, by the way... I feel sick but only at night, sore breasts, heartburn, headache, dizzy, emotional, and tired. I should also mention that I had sex on my PEAK ovulation day and I started having these symptoms a couple a weeks ago, so I don't believe it's PMS. THANKS GUYS!

it depends on the pregnancy test. you can buy the 'early pregnancy' tests and use it 10 - 15 days after when you're supposed to have your period.

Hey! I'm pregnant, but it's like what uninspiredfae said, it depends on the test. I took my test a week and a half later, after I missed my period and I was positive, I waited because I didn't want to use it early and have it be innaccurate and spend money for nothing. It all depends on what you have. Anyway, I used EPT.

It may show up tomorrow. I wouldn't risk it though. I'd wait a little longer.

Yeah, I think you should wait until you have missed your first period then take the test. Because sometimes, just because you have some of the same signs, it doesn't neccesarily mean that you're pregnant.
