QUOTE(sadolakced acid @ Sep 10 2005, 8:34 PM) ahh well, what else am i supposed to do? it's more of the market leader using thier dominance to cut unfair deals that i don't like. I'd say, remember that they are only computer and consumer electronics products, and just don't take everything about them so personally. |

i want it lol i think there is like a defect in the iPod mini's cuz everybody i know says there battery keeps running down even when its off like it'll be fully charged when you go to sleep then you wake up and its dead so i think they covered it up by killing it and releasing the nano i do like the nano better cuz its smaller (easier to lose) and its got the color screen thats awesome i wonder if its like the iPod photo where you can put photos on it separate from songs what they should come out with next is an iPod that plays songs and music videos since you can watch them now in the new iTunes 5

QUOTE(kryogenix @ Sep 11 2005, 6:30 PM) I actually just downloaded the DVD ISO of Fedora Core 4 yesterday, in preparation for setting up a workstation with it. By the way, if anyone is interested in Linux, I highly recommend Fedora Core, it's one of the best distros I've ever used, and very easy to set up and maintain. |

Yep, it's derived from RedHat, and it has KDE! But in order to make a segway since we're straying from the topic: are there linux drivers for the nano? |

QUOTE(kryogenix @ Sep 11 2005, 9:05 PM) There's some software you can use to transfer songs to and from iPods for Linux, but Apple itself doesn't release any software. Rule of thumb is that if your Linux kernel supports USB thumb drives, it will support the iPod. Then you can use GNUPod or GTKPod to transfer songs. |

I personally don't like the nano. I mean, it's the same as an iPod mini, only comes in 2 colors and is more expensive. I like how it's thin, but it looks kind of ugly. I have an iPod mini and I love it, it's small enough for me.

Even though the mini ipod is a great ipod nano is smaller and thinner but most of all it can contain pictures and it has color =P. Another great advancment on the nano... Yep yep =P |

If you care so much about it matching your shirt or pants, buy yourself the cover. click it Whee and wow, any fruity color you could want. Its really sad that people are so concerned with having it match their pants that they ignore advancements in technology...If you want a fashion accessory by yourself a purse and leave the Nano be. |

The black one looks sweeet.
But still, for about 30$ more I could get a Zen Touch and hold 5x as much. |
