i'm talking to one of my guy friends (i'll call him erin) right now, about this whole girl issue he has. but the thing is i don't really know him all that well, while his problem is pretty serious. so, i suggested he talk with his best friend (i'll call him henry) about it, but erin says henry and all his other guy friends don't really care about each other's emotions, that they tough it out... (from what erin's told me, that really does seem true... at least the not caring part)
so i was all annoyed and stuff, because what's wrong with guys showing emotion?

but basically, my question is (for the guys mostly...) : do you guys show emotion regularly, if you can help it? and do you care about your other guy friends' feelings...? it seems like a stupid question, but... still ermm.gif (sorry if a similar post has been made before)

i usually am showing emotions but i can hide them if i want to. about my friends.. if there down and what not... we figured that if we don't talk to each other, we will figure it out ourselves. we (its me and 3 other guys and we are like brothers. we are all 17 and 18) learn to deal with each other.. we are pretty cool.

to make that short.. we deal with our own problems. and it's not that i dont care, it's not that i dont care, its that its better to lay off each other.

well yea but... sometimes you can't really deal with some problems all on your own. like, you need someone to just listen to you, give advice even if it isn't that helpful... but just knowing somebody is there for you would help, right? ermm.gif

ok if you go to the library n read "men are from mars and women are from venus" then you'll find out that men and women deal with stress differently. while women naturually find ppl to talk to about the situation, guys tend to try to solve problems by themselves.

men and women are just DIFFERENT

we all care about the ones that matter to us. just in different ways.

I try to show my emotions most of the time.
It's just all fake if you try to act tough, even though you're hurting on the inside.

Most of the time my emotions remain inside of me
Especially when the emotions are sad
Then, when i'm alone, i explode
Hehe, tears, the works

Most guys get teased at younger ages for showing emotion but guys tend to turn to woman to talk their issues out I dunno why that is I think its because talking to a woman won't get them a really ignorant response (EX: suck it up or tough it out) alot of people are different I guess it depends on how mature someone really is.

Guys talking emotions to other guys is AKWARD AS HELL.

Guys just socially CAN NOT BE EMOTIONAL. I guess that's why I hang with more girls than guys, they love to talk issues.

You don't send a guy to help another guy because guys just either aren't interested in issues (90%) of the time, or bottle it up anyway.

For all the guys I know, they never show emotion regularly.
They all say if they do, everyone will think he is a wimp.
But it acutally makes him stronger...
