Completely new with Overrides, Help produce this output? Options

I've had my Livejournal for almost four years and it's never seen a layout. So I want to give it a new look, but don't have enough knowledge to make it work on my own. I do know exactly what I want, though.

This is the layout I'd like to produce using the overrides, but I have no clue how do do it. This is all I have so far in the override box:

Which LJ layout would be best to use? Is there any way to replicate that iframe so the entries are centered in that white rectangle? If I could get the LJ layout looking pretty darn close to the one posted above, well, it would sure make my day. :) Any help and suggestions are mucho appreciated.
