stop when u get tired of being in labor. but if u still want kids, adopt some. lots and lots of parentless kids live in poorly cared for orphanages with sometimes unloving caretakers

Well I think it depends on the person, and not the age. Well, if the person is like in their sixties...that's not fair to the child. If the person is 40, but acts 30, then fine! But if you're in your late 40s and you feel old, I don't think it's a good idea for the baby. Besides, when you get older, you get tired and you want to relax...having another baby will not help that, and you'll probably have a lousy retirement. Also, you want to live long for your child...when your kid grows up and is in their 20s, you shouldn't be saying "I'm living on borrowed time" because that's not fair to the kid. I personally want to have two babies before I reach 30; granted I get married around 24. ^_^

I agree that you should weigh down the possibility of your child having down syndrome. So 40's I guess. If everything was great then I guess I'd still go with 45 max. I dont know I have read about a woman having I think twins in her 60's! That's mad! But I guess if u have the money and arrange something before hand then it would be okay.

Mid 40s.

For those saying like twenties and what not, hello don't you want to live a little before you have a child?

Umm, I am pretty sure most of my peers' grandparents are in their 70s and what. My parents are 50ish. People are living longer and having kids later.

Yeah, I want to have kids when I'm like 23 or something.
Some people think that's too young, but whatever.

not really, if you're 35+ (i believe) years old then your baby is at a higher risk for developing down syndrome and other types of disorderse.

Actually, once a woman reaches age twenty, the likelihood of birth defects become greater. As one gets older, the spindle fibers that take DNA apart during meiosis get thinner and thinner, so there's more chance of a birth defect.

So I'd say around age 40.

(Woot for science class, haha.)
