Fashion?
But yeah, it really is annoying. Especially jeans, when you wash them, they get tighter, so sometime it's harder to put them on...

Let me tell you a story:

Last September, I bought a crocheted hat from AE. I loved that hat. I wore it pretty much everyday from September to May. Anyway, by April, it was pretty stretched out. Well, one night I went out. At my college, we have this weekend called "Houseparty Weekend" which is basically a big party with all the fraternities on campus. Anyway, it poured the second night, and I got really went. So I trudged back to my dorm room around 4:30 in the morning and threw all my clothes in the dryer, including my hat. When I took my hat out of the dryer, I noticed it had shrunk considerably. "Oh no!" I thought. "My favorite hat! It shrunk!" I was crestfallen. Then I put it on and realized something: it had shrunk back to its original size!. That's right--it had become so stretched that shrinking it made it the right size again.

Thank God for the ability to shrink clothing, I say.

eh, I don't mind shrinking, you just need to take care of your clothes. I like it when my jeans shrink after the wash, they fit me better.

I hate it! I buy the size that fits me well, and it shrinks to where it's too short. So I tried buying shirts that were too big for me so they'd shrink to a good size, right? Wrongg. They still get to short. And to add on to that, they're still too big in width. I've ruined 5 shirts from my last school shopping spree because of that. rolleyes.gif

But some stores have already prewashed clothes so that way they've already shrunk as much as they will.

I HATE THAT. So this year I started doing this - I buy clothes that fit me perfectly and when I wash them, I don't put them in the dryer so the only way they'll get smaller is if I get bigger.

Yes, it does suck.
3/4 of my closet are small shirts that I owned a few years ago.
I don't want to throw them away yet.
Or ever!
