Why aren't there any digital painters here? Surely someone must own a wacom aside from me...

Well anyway, I decided to try my hand at digital painting.

So many things wrong with it pinch.gif

Took me about.......
*counts fingers*
4-5 hours?

And to those that will ask, yes, this was all done on the computer.

I used a Wacom digital tablet, the brush tool, the eraser tool, and the smudge tool.

I've always wanted to do that! Well, I've tried a bunch, but it's just not the same with a mouse. At all.

Where do you get those tablet thingys and how much are they?

I bought mine at CompUSA, but you can get them at any computer-related store.

The one that I bought is a Wacom Graphire, which is 6x8 inches. It costs about $200. But they also sell a smaller one, that is 4x5 inches, which is about $100.

But there are also other brands that are cheaper, but I don't trust them tongue.gif

I've always wanted to try digital painting, sadly, I don't own a tablet.

Anyway, I'll use my experience with vectors to judge it a bit. I love how everything looks; it's just that the forehead looks very yellow-tinged compared to the rest of the skin.

The shading is amazing, though, and the hair is nice too.
