cant find code needed, for text box

Hey i have looked in this forum but i can' find the code i want. i would like to have a scrollable box like on this lj:
beauty and the beast

my livejournal is here

but the background is meant to look like this

and the this is the code i am already using

hey use a code box next time.uhm i think you need to adjust these number


it says you could change it? im not sure but im trying. _smile.gif

Get rid of the percentages; it won't show up right in the resolution I'm using.

Try:



I added a height and changed the pixels to percentages. I have no idea how good that will look, but that's a start. You can change the numbers to adjust where the box goes.

Also, you should be using Generator, not Disjointed. Add this code somewhere in the style tags:

thanks for the help but i still cant get a scrollable box on my livejournal i dont know if someone could send me a re written code or something it would be helpful ummmm yeah thanks again

Did you change the style of your livejournal to generator.
Because I'm looking at your journal right now, and it's still disjointed.

If you do not change it to generator, it will not work properly.

when i changed to generator everything went whack so i am using a code from CB previously i was using one that i found on a random website i am still havin trouble with this code that i am using from this site

thanks you pros prob get all sh*ted off with us newbies asking simple stuff all the time

Well, if you're going to use ANY code from CB it has to be left on generator. That's usually the style preference for all coding made for layouts.

If that doesn't work out, ljlayouts.org should have some premades with a scrollbar in it, that you would work off of.
