I don't think most guys cry, after the break up, they'd probably be really sad for a while, but then..I don't know. Then again, some guys are more sensitive than others, so they might cry.

We do when it's something important, like our team loses the pennant, or we can't find the remote control.

^ lmao....well i wonder the same...well i was kidding when i said i do...a break-up is something that you dont cry over but you take a little time out and probably go to your room and think it over...instead of crying a river...thats what i will do

it was long distance so we were both got choked up over the phone while we talked about it
yeah....
it actually happened a couple hours ago. meh. long distance truly sucks unless you can see each other once a month or so. but we lived about 1800 miles apart...so yeah. i'll shut up.

:edit:
nevermind. i just talked to her on the phone. i definitely cried.

:edit AGAIN:
nevermind. we're back together. lol.

that was weird.

Yes, guys do cry. You aren't human if you don't cry about anything at all. If you don't cry, then how are you capable of smiling and frowning? It's just society has put such an emphasis specifically on guys crying that many think they can't or shouldn't or shouldn't let others see.

First, you should never stop yourself from crying. BUT there are times when you shouldn't let someone see you cry. And that is when you're going through a breakup. As a guy, you should never let a girl see you cry when you guys are breaking up. When girls see a guy cry (over them), it tugs at their heart like crazy and it makes them want to stay. However, they're only staying because they feel bad, not because they want to. If you want to find out how they really feel, don't cry to them. Go home and cry to your pillow.

Losing a loved one is hard, and crying is sometimes the best thing you can do when you have no one to talk to. Talk to your pillow and let your tears be the words. In time, you will get tired of crying and life will be better.

PS. Just because a guy moves on with his life (has a new girl) after he cried over one does not necessarily mean his tears are insincere. It jus means he's moved on with his life.
