it's overrated. asian people think it's god.

all you gotta know is that, a stock z06 will outhandle and will destroy it also in straight line racing.

and if you wanna say, a modded skyline would kill the z06, well, a modded z06 would kill the skyline.

but the skyline has more technology than we will ever know about.. in canada they have a law that says any car that is 15 years old+ is fair game, so the 1989 r32 skyline is legal there as of august. over here, it's a 25 year rule =\

also, no i don't think the skyline is the best import car ever. i'd rather take a ferrari enzo

thank you l00d *tear* i dont think I could have said it better myself. The car is pretty over rated if I do say so myself. I was at an import show one time and there was a skyline there and everyone was about to bust a nut when they saw it. Its just a car and I personally would prefer a different car over skyline anytime. Give me a Nissan Silvia S15 model *DROOL*.

Ok lets face it..every asian is obessed with the Skyline R33 R34 doesnt matter, i mean yea it is a nice car..but, to obsess over it like this..i mean there is even a damn forum about it?! Im an integra man myself..JDM Honda Integra Type-R much lighter than the skyline, because in Japan..the Skyline is a family econo vehicle <Much like the Honda Civic in America> so yea..i dont see the need to obess over it so much

Well, there are only illegal if you directly transport it here without making it meet U.S Smog Emissions or something. You have to transport it through moterEX and they'll make it street legal for you.

He's exactly right. THEY ARE NOT BANNED in the US, you can import them here if they're modified to fit US regulations, one company that does that for you is Motorex, but I'm sure there's more And yes, you can drive it, they're perfectly legal.

meh, they've already said, it's the smog emissions and rules that they're illegal to drive. If you don't pass it through motorex and get it through smog emissions then it's illegal to drive like any other car. Except it cost lots and lots of money to bring over and take it through motorex.

not only is the emissions a problem but the car does not have 5 mile an hour bumpers on them which also need to be replaced.

But yeah, importing a GTR has to be smog legal and such. Driving on the right hand side is allowed as well! Lol

hahahah, I hope you're talking about a used lambo, cuz a new one is way more expensive than a skyline, even with all the costs of getting it over here.

And yes, I do know the Infiniti G35 is a skyline, but it's obvious he's talking about the R32-R34 skyline.
