Yeah I'm with her on this one. But I only have one x and that's because just 'heartbreaker' looked very...dull...and was probably taken...so I added that one x...sorry to piss people off...didn't know it was an issue.

Some people use it for reasons. They're not trying to be cool or awesome.


The people I know of use it to simbalize Straight Edge which is sxe. The others I know use it to simbalize the hardcore scene which is hxc, or metalcore mxc, or emocore exc.


So stop flaming people who have it when they might have good reasons behind it.

You know theirs 2 reasons behind the x's.

One reason is for Hardcore kids who listen to Hardcore music....hXc is short for hardcore. Therefore....you get x's.

Another reason is for Straight Edge. XXX is poison free youth.

As for everyone else that does it, they're just trying to be like everyone else.  My x's mean something...not there to look cool.

none of my friends have x's in their screename. i dont know why it matters so much? if it's annoying to you im sorry but there's probably nothing you can do about it unless you find some way to hack into every single s/n or username with "x's" and change it or something..which i doubt is possible. but i agree with those who just use it to add something in or just use it as a placeholder..why does it matter if they want to..and michelle(you have a nice xanga by the way) you were talking about doing "whatever the hell you want" well thats what they're doing so we can all do whatever the hell we want and just say screw it when people like to argue against your judgement and what not.

well it think its just as unoriginal as have doobydoo_06 or something. I used to do it just do I caould have the screenname I wanted cuz someone took the original for example: lady_karamelle <taken? I made it Xxlady_karamellexX. But now I just find a way to get it how I want it. Even if I have to sacrifice spelling. Because I need consistency. If my email is one thing, my screennames have to match. yup. But I never did it because it was trndy. I just did it to get my way
