it sounds like you guys get screwed...we have to have 13 credits of electives and most are only a semester long so thats only .5 credits.

we get 2 electives/semester freshman year, 4/semester sophomore year, 6/semester junior year, and then senior year all your classes are electives because no classes are required that year.
*

Wow, that sounds like a cool school, hah. Well, for my school, you can take as many electives you want that will fill your schedule, but freshmen only get like 3 to choose from, sophomores about 5-8, juniors and seniors get a lot more. But we still have classes that are required to graduate for senior year.

I'm taking Drawing I+II.

It's great. The teacher is psycho I swear. On the first day she spent 15 minutes talking to us about her divorce, and then later on, 27 minutes on how to give a strong first impression when using a handshake.

She's mental.

band, choir and other classes like that are usually 2 semesters, but art classes are generally one.

i'm doing cooking. (foods 1) that should probably be an option because a lot of people take that as an elective.
*

we don't even offer that, and no one else has said it. let's not be selfish

but then, we have a home ec room and no home ec class

QUOTE(x_angawhomps @ Sep 2 2005, 10:42 PM)

my 'elective' is volleyball. it doesn't really count as an elective, though, because it's required if you're on the varsity team.

Art even though I wanted to take Speech/Health so I could get it over with. But no, they're trying to "limit health and speech and spanish to the sophmores." Yeah, that's why just about every freshman I know is in one of those classes. _dry.gif
