Video Games, Why do most girls suck at video games?

I have noticed that most of the girls I know absolutely suck on video games
I mean my old girlfriend, she couldn't even complete one of the first missions on GTA vice city (the one where you kill loads of people on the golfcourse) man she was so lame at video games

Why? What is the reason for girls not being good at video games?
I know this sounds like a generalization but just about all the girls I know suck at video games (EG, my old girlfriend, Female College friends, female cousines, ect...)

Because while guys are playing videogames, girls are putting on makeup. I bet you're not nearly as good at putting on makeup as your old girlfriend.

i dont suck, i beat all my friends, both guys and girls at all diff kinds of games
and most girls probably suck because really, how many girls do you know that play video games alot? lol most of my friends (girls) dont

well girls dont suck at games...but the popularity of girls that are good are slim so thats the problem and the answer to your topic...^ i think she can beat me..

I beat GTA: SA before my boyfriend did and its his game. Thats a very rash generalisation. I could probably kick your ass!!! Its just the fact that girls dont sit around playing video games all day. There arent that many female gamers, but the ones who do play are just as good as guys. Girls just would rather spend money or socialise than sit in front of a screen, therefore most of them have less practice, so they dont get the games. Why do guys suck at painting fingernails? Because they dont do it. Easy enough. I could whoop your ass at gta any day by the way. hey! that rhymed!! [/random]

I think its because girls aren't prone to voilence like boys and that they like don't spend much time with technology since they do their hair and nails and whatever I don't know.

Games just don't interest them ,can't figure out for the love of me why though. Gotta play Devil May Cry

it really depends on the girl.. my gf is pretty cool. she's into GTA and Midnight Club (ima try and introduce her intro NFS... i prefer that.. lol)

my gf is cool.. she's on the swim team and she's pretty good.. she's either in JV or Varsity.

Yeah, I found that most girls at video games suck, but I have figured that only the coolest girls are good at video games such as this girl who I know from college who plays on kick ass games like GTA:SA. She is obviously the coolest girl ever but the majority of girls do boring things like going bto the mall

LOL! You'll need 1 week untill you learn how to play(even) a game,while a girl needs 1 hour,and 1 more hour to finish the game,hahaha ;) they learn more faster then us,remember :)

lol... I'm a female gamer at heart and I beat some of my guy friends sometimes. They look really funny when I beat them at their own game...

I think the answer to your question is that most girls would rather spend socializing rather than playing video games. But not all girls suck at video games. When I'm with my guy friends at the mall, we go straight to the gaming zone, usually playing Time Crisis... when I'm with my girl friends, I go shopping. Ah... it's good to be balanced... _smile.gif

not ALL girls suck at video games. that would be like saying that ALL girls suck at mechanics or all guys have a bad fashion sense. it most likely just that girls have better things to do rather than sit on their butts playing games.
