I don't like myspace even thought I have one I never do anything on it,
Basically All the kids I know have one, it kind of pisses me off.

ugh. I'm sick of thise "I hate it cuz everyone has one" bullshit. How about I hate cb cuz so many people have joined. I'm glad I got a myspace. I had never even heard of it, then one day a friend of mine showed me his and I was like cool I want one, then all of a sudden all my friends started adding me. I'm like wooooaaaahhhhh. So yeah. I like, cuz I've gotten in touch with a lot of friends who are in college and dont live at home anymore. its nice. haters.

In a way, I'm glad it is so widespread. I've found a lot of people from my past through Myspace.

But Xanga is still better. I'm a writer, and without all the bells and whistles, people actually FOCUS ON THE WRITING! Yeah...

good point. Xanga is a great outlet, becuase people go on there just to read. The blog on myspace is sort of secondary. But I rarely write in my xanga...and I never write in myspace. I just talk to people :D

Yeah...I don't know anyone who doesn't have a MySpace...apparently, in my cousin's school, as soon as you meet someone, they'll ask you what your MySpace is. blink.gif And...I've succumed to the MySpace fad, I'll admit it. Wrong .. MySpace has been there since 2003 .. Xanga .. I dunno. Both are different. People having accounts on such just because they're cyber fads are lame.

I have a MySpace account [log in in 03] .. and an Lj account [to get my shit off my chest] .. also a Multiply account [for my friends back in my home country to see what's happening around me] .. a Friendster account [just tried it out last 2 years.. and yeah. Yeah, a lot of people at my school have joined myspace now... it's kind of annoying thought cause they're like really weird (the people at my school) and yeah. I've only added a few of them, though.

And it seems to me that it's sort of a big popularity contest. "OMG I HAVE 500 FRIENDS AND YOU ONLY HAVE 90!"

I only know 3 people who don't. I didn't realize how popular MySpace was until a couple days ago. Half my school's joined. And they all act so different online. They're half naked in their pictures. mellow.gif

Omg.....like everyone of my friends and people in my town has a myspace...its sooo.....bad..god...but I like my xanga better cause onli the ppl I care about usually read it. Hehe they also gave rich text to the classic members to compete with myspace.

i have a myspace, but i don't use it. i prefer xanga for the sole reason that most people use myspace as some sort of...popularity contest. well, my friends do, at least. "HEY let's see who can get the most friends!!!"

and it's a bitch to code.
