in a meaningful relationship we do....we wait till after the conversation or phonecall to let the emotions set in. -- and any other guy who says otherwise knows there lieing...

Depends on the guy more than the relationship. I have yet to cry upon breaking up wit one of my girlfriends. There are just more important things in life.It ain't worth crying for.

Guys are heartless; it depends on how serious the relationship. Usually they don't like to cry IN FRONT of people though.

thats kinda how i feel about it. the only things thats cry wothy for me is: death and something really sad/bad happening in my family. we're not heartless though _unsure.gif i dont cry for a breakup, but guys do think about you guys alot and are depressed for a long time. and there is alot of deep thinking involved. only in certain situations does that get to the point of crying. you dont necessarily have to cry just to show how much u miss/love/appreciate the signicant other you lost.

I suppose it depends on how serious the relationship was. I know that my ex probably didn't cry when he broke up with me, and according to my boyfriend, he didn't cry over his exes either...

well i hate break-ups...i really do alot...and well i really never broke up with a girl...they cheated on me or i moved away or was to far to carry on the relationship so we always decided to together..but if i break up with a girl..i will say im sorry and cry my heart out..because if i asked her out to begin with and ended up breaking her heart and leaving her...i will feel bad and drown in tears

p.s. no im not gay..im just really into relations and love is a big thing...i take it serious

why wouldnt they cry? they might not cry in public, but does that mean that they dont have emotions at all?

laugh.gif That totally made my morning

I know my boyfriend and I have had a lot of ups and down over the past 2 years, and when we break it off (temporarily of course) or if we get in a big fight or if somthing goes wrong, we both tend to shed a lot of tears...And I don't cry. I'm kinda heartless, he cries more than I do. But I think it shows maturity when I guy can show his emotions. Guys who hide them are trying too hard to be macho and they are just going to end up hurting themselves.
