goodbye to gorging myself with food and not gaining any weight
goodbye to cuddling with you once a week
goodbye to summer assignments (HELL YES)

hello to college applications
hello to work
hello to new relationships.

This thread helps me reflect on my summer. So I don't care how old this is, I'm bringing it up again..!

Summer 2006...

hot yoga
grouse grind again
sailing!
MEXICO short term missions trip
nightmarket
long distance relationship begins with boyfriend
bbq at my house
playland with the summer04 crew.. (:
Blueberry picking
Re-generation
lots of fondue
going to all the fireworks shows
first meaningful Canada Day ever..
--> Run for Canada, local jazz, Canada place, fireworks
trying tennis
going swimming for the first time in years
playing soccer and vball
greek food
hilarious skytrain ride
learning how to arcade 'drum'
having a yard sale with friends
bonding with some school friends ironically after graduation
checking out the new university
summer of no working (: and \: at the same time
late night true confections & sweet revenge for desserts
cruising around the city in the cars that everyone now has (:
continuing to volunteer
getting back satisfying provincial exam results

+ more to come hopefully... < 2 weeks left

again.. GO!

Regrettably my least active summer yet, even with college looming around the corner, but I'll be glad to see it go. Five weeks!

Goodbye in a bit to--
  • Tahoe, the only remotely normal family vacation I've ever been on
  • spontaneous Carmel-by-the-Sea trips
  • San Francisco
  • Davenport beach
  • making out in the middle of the night
  • fwb
  • staying out until dawn
  • advising '06
  • wandering around campus
  • co-ed sleepovers, staying up just talking
  • sleeping in
  • baking cookies
  • abusive parents & overall dysfunctional family
  • MILPITAS (good riddance)

Gosh, it doesn't even smell like summer in NYC anymore. It smells like.. autumn.. And it sucks.

Here's to:
JHS friends..
George J Ryan MS 216.
Taking the train everyday into the city.
Blasting music on the train.
Free Saturdays. (I have Saturday classes for the Hayden Program..)
Wandering around Central Park early mornings.
Playing CTF, Volleyball, and Extreme Frisbee in Central Park with friends.
Ramdom trips up to Boston..
The mall every Saturday.
Rocket launches (y'know.. the small ones?) and weather experiments and The Na-Know Game Show..
Someone..
Playing tennis and baseball.
Watching every Mets/Yankees/Braves game.
Never cleaning my room.
Staying up late.
Sleeping 12 hours a day.
Going on cB to get my post count up.
Jones and Long Beach.
Fishing at Long Beach.
Camping upstate.
HaloFest with my friends.
Halo-ing for more than 8 hours a day. (Motion sicknesss.)
XBOX LIVE!!!
The MTA and their stupid detours and problems and stuff.. Which actually made the trip fun.
The B Train. I'll miss it like crazy..
4th of July Fireworks at the United Nations. (Like. Inside the building.)
Procrastination. For summer homework.
