Do you cry at funerals?

I've got to admit I've never cried before but I got pretty sad. I don't know why but I just don't.

Well...funerals are about mourning the loss of someone close, and that makes people sad...and when people are sad, they cry.

._.

I've never been to a funeral before; I don't know if I would be moved enough to cry.

I've never been to a funeral, except for my grandfather's.
I didn't really cry for him, because I wasn't close to him and such. But I cried when everyone else started crying. mellow.gif

I've been to one and it was my uncle's. I didn't ry because I didn't really know him well and I met him on his death bed. If I'm close to that person I will.

Same here. The only funeral I've been to was my grandmother, but I wasn't really close to her. I didn't cry until everyone else was crying... But like XKali_chik_4_lifeX said, I would probably cry if I was close to the person.

Never. I went to a funeral twice. My grandpa.... he died when I was turning 2 years old. I'll probably cry at this age now. The 2nd one was my friend's dad. I didn't cry because I didn't really know him that much.

And he died in a weird way. He got drunk, and started harassing this girl. And starting hitting on her. so the girl's boyfriend got the beer bottle and threw it at my friend's dad three times. then he died.

I've only been to two funerals and one was my great-grandma's whom i didn't know that well and wasn't close to so i didn't cry. The others was my Tae Kwan Doe instructer who commited sucide. I almost cried but held it in i guess. That was an incredibly sad funeral.... sad.gif

If it's someone really close to me, I will cry. But if it's someone that I didn't know that well or wasn't that close with, I won't cry.

I've never cried in funerals. I am not the crying type but the MAIN reason why I don't cry in funerals is because the funerals I've been to are just old relatives who I've only seen once.

I cried at the three funerals I've ever been to... My great grandmother's, my friend I knew from school... and my best friend's baby boy who was never able to live and be brought into this world.

Depends. I've only been to one funeral and I wasn't even remotely sad at all. I never really was that close to my grandfather anyway. I went and partied right after (I left early). I know I sound so insensitive, but that's the truth. If it was someone I loved, I would've cried most definitely.

I've been to about ten or eleven funerals, and I think I've cried at almost all of them. I'm a pretty sensitive person at times, and most of the people that had passed away were very close to me. The only one that I don't think I cried at was a funeral for one of my mother's high school friends that I didn't know.

Actually, that's pretty much what happened to me. Well except for the partying. I've only been to my grandfather's funeral. It was when I was young, and I honestly didn't know what was going on... now i feel kind of bad about it. But yeah, I wasn't too close to him. I'm sure I would have cried at the funeral of someone I was really close to..
